Aqua-Therm Permits

More commonly known as “bubblers,” aqua-therms prevent ice from naturally forming. This poses a safety hazard for anyone who may be on or near the ice. For this reason, all aqua-therm owners must post signing, warning of possible thin ice.

In addition, aqua-therms must be registered with the Town Clerk’s office prior to installation and each year thereafter. Owners can do so by completing the aqua-therm permit form and paying the $0.50 registration fee. Failure to do so can result in a fine.

For more information, regarding aqua-therm registration, refer to NH RSAs 270:33, 270:34, and 270:35 or contact the Town Clerk.
