Page Pond 3 Expansion

This project expanded the Page Pond Town Forest to over 800 acres.

Thank you for helping to expand Page Pond Town Forest!

Page Pond - Meredith Ycas

The Commission thanks everyone who contributed to the successful expansion of Page Pond Town forest by another 38 acres.

This land will provide easy access to 800 acres of town forest and its ten miles of hiking trails. It also protects valuable water resources along Page Brook, which flows into Fish Cove in Lake Winnipesaukee.  It provides great value to wildlife, water quality, and recreation. You can learn more about its importance to the town by reading the Page Pond 3 Overview Information (PDF).

We received grants from the NH Moose Plate program and the U.S. Forest Service Community Forest program as well as many donations from individuals and local organizations.  Next steps include constructing a trailhead on Meredith Neck Road, building a trail to connect to the existing trail network, and stewarding the property.

You can still make a tax-deductible donation to the Page Pond 3 Stewardship Fund. View the Page Pond 3 Expansion Donation Form (DOCX), or email the Conservation Commission for other ways to contribute or for more information.  Thank you for your support in protecting Meredith's natural resources and recreation opportunities!
