Short Term Rentals

The Town of Meredith regulates short-term rentals. Short-term rentals, as defined in the zoning ordinance, are permitted by special exception in all districts except the Business and Industry District. Below are excerpts from the zoning ordinance that pertain to short-term rentals and the special exception criteria, along with the application for the Zoning Board of Adjustment.

In addition to obtaining a Special Exception, property owners intending to utilize a property as a Short-Term rental must apply for and obtain a license from the town and complete an inspection with the Fire Department.
